Over the last few years and as I have grown in my sourdough journey, it has become a dream of mine to open a micro bakery. This past year was very influential for me in regards to finding my love for making assorted pastries, getting better at doing so, and sharing them with the people who follow my page. It’s been so fun to try different recipes and modify them and pray that it works. If there is one thing I know, God is faithful. I now own a micro bakery and it’s called Susanna’s Bakery!

 

Why Susanna’s Bakery?

 

As many of you know, I married my husband this past year and decided to drop my middle name, which was Susanna. This is a name that I have carried with me for the last 26 years and it was a bittersweet feeling to let that go. I feel as if this is a way I can carry on my middle name. Susanna is also a woman in the Bible who get’s very little screen time. However, she remains very influential.

 

Susanna was a woman who had consistent faith in God, and followed Jesus without hesitation. She provided to the ministry with what little funds she had and was a public supporter of Him. Susanna is who I strive to be. Without a doubt, I feel that starting this business is something the Lord has placed on my heart and provided for me. I can’t wait to use this as an opportunity to connect with others.
